They're Here!

Today we welcomed into our family three new blessings from Heaven:

Addison Rae - 5 lbs 13 oz
Ava Noelle - 5 lbs 4 oz
Elaina Marie - 4 lbs 13 oz

Ava and Elaina were able to come directly with us to our room, while Addison is spending the night in the NIM (Neo-Natal Intermediate Care) due to some fluid in her lungs. We are truly amazed with the abundant blessings that have been poured out on us.

Jenn is doing well and excited to be able to breath again. We hope to come home together as a full family on Thursday.

Here are a couple of pictures of the girls. Because Addison went to the NIM, I do not have a good picture with all three of them together yet. We will try and post some more pictures over the next couple of days.

It's Getting Close

I can't believe I've made it past my personal goal of getting through moving into our new house, and making it through Christmas with my family! These are two things I never imagined I would make it to! Praise God! What a wonderful thing it was to be able to go to church with my family on Christmas and worship the Baby who was born so long ago to be our Savior. I can't imagine what Mary must've felt like being so ripe with child and riding on a donkey! Or maybe I can - not good!

The countdown is on! A mere 64 hours from now (or less), we will be holding the precious girls that God has entrusted to us. It's hard to believe that a 34.5 weeks ago we were a happy family of four, anticipating the possibility of a newborn baby. Little did we know that 5 weeks later we would discover that their would be three little additions to the family! It's amazing how God has carried us through this journey from shock, to panic, to surrender, and most importantly to trust. We have been blessed in ways we never imagined. That unforgettable afternoon, I promised God I would do whatever I could to take care of these precious babies, and he has taken care of the rest!

Look for an update soon! I have a feeling it may be sooner than I think! Between Rich and I, I hope we can figure out how to work this blog!

First Time For Everything

I always said I would start a blog once I was put on bedrest, so that I could keep friends and family up-to-date with what's happening during our exciting adventure! Well, as it turns out.....it hasn't been so adventurous yet and it doesn't look like there will be any bedrest to get me motivated. So here you go...my very humble attempt at beginners blogging! Our hope is to be able to keep everyone posted as things begin happening here real soon!

For those of you who don't know, the girls are scheduled to be making their debut on New Year's Eve at 11:30 am at the ripe old age of 35 weeks! I can't think of a better way to ring in the New Year! There's always the chance that they make an early arrival - especially since we will be moving into our new house this weekend. Yes - we realize we are crazy. But we trust that the Lord will continue to carry us through this as He has so graciously done thus far.

We wish each and every one of you a blessed Christmas as we celebrate the birth of our Savior!
