We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter Sunday today! We were fortunate enough to be able to go to church together as a family to worship this morning - thanks to my very wonderful parents who stayed home with the girls. Thanks for being willing to give up your Easter Sunday for us, Mom and Dad! You are the best! We are so blessed that we serve a risen God who sacrificed His life for our sins. We had an awesome video this morning at church which described Jesus in a million different ways - and then said "he's indescribable" - Do you know him? It was so touching to me as I reflected on the past year of our family's life. He is the Strength for the weak, the Hope for the Weary. We have witnessed his unfailing love and grace and provision for our family in such real and tangible ways. He is undoubtedly ALIVE! Do you know Him?Even though the girls didn't get to go to church with us this morning - we just had to dress them up in their cute matching dresses! I remember Emma's first Easter picture was sitting on a blanket in the bluebonnets on a warm sunny Texas day. This Easter we could've set the girls in a snowbank out front! Brrrrr! Luke and Emma were excited to hunt for eggs with their cousins - and we even got Luke to wear some handsome pants that don't show his ankles!! There IS hope!
